back to the future is such a masterpiece of film dude

the effects arent great in some parts but thats really my only problem with the movie!

the story is so easy to follow, there's really simple foreshadowing so you dont have to do insane mental gymnastics but you also cant be an idiot

the pacing is great, every shot is perfectly placed. the writing is awesome. the acting is great. the uncomfortable scenes are also made specifically to be as uncomfortable as possible which is nice.

also the 'johnny b goode' segment had no purpose to be there other than "yeah why not celebrate? mcfly just saved his life and finished one of the 2 important things he really needed to do. yeah lets have him rock out like he wanted to in the beginning of the film"

also the actual time travel mechanics in it are probably my favorite ive seen. no exploding when coming in contact with your parents or anything
